Privacy Policy

What data this site collects, why, and how to have it removed.

Who we are

PrinterGuide Hub, contactable at hello@printerguide.alphabyte.org.

What we collect

• **Contact form submissions.** The name, email address, topic and message you send us, plus your
• consent decision. We use these only to reply to your enquiry.
• **Server logs.** Standard web server request logs, which may include IP address, user agent and
• requested URL, retained for security and diagnostics.
• **Cookies.** A session cookie protects the contact form against cross-site request forgery (no
• personal data, expires when you close your browser). The consent banner stores your choices in the
• `abs_cookie_consent` cookie — essential, analytics and advertising flags — so it does not ask again.
• Analytics and advertising cookies are only set for the categories you consented to; "essential"
• cannot be switched off. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings".

Your choices

The consent banner shown on your first visit lets you accept all cookies or reject everything
beyond the strictly essential ones. "More options" records per-category choices. Your decision is
stored locally in your browser and can be withdrawn at any time via the floating "Cookie Settings"
button without affecting your use of the site.

You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Third parties

• **Amazon.** When you follow a "View on Amazon" link, Amazon receives your request and applies its
• own privacy policy and cookies. Our affiliate tag tells Amazon the visit came from us. We do not
• receive any personal information about you from Amazon.
• **Product data provider.** We obtain product reference data from a third-party data service. This
• is a server-to-server process that involves no visitor data whatsoever.

Legal basis and retention

Contact form data is processed on the basis of your consent in submitting it, and is retained only as
long as needed to handle the enquiry. Server logs are retained on a short rolling window.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Write to
hello@printerguide.alphabyte.org and we will respond within one month.
